Division I Men's Player of the Week
Crichton (Tenn.) forward Deshawn Danzey has been named NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week after scoring 35.5 points per game, including 44 in Crichton's win over No. 6 Lambuth. Danzey also helped Crichton to a 2-0 week with 27 points against Martin Methodist.
Danzey averaged 8.0 rebounds per game to go with six assists on the week, five of which came against Lambuth. He also totaled four blocks and four steals in the two-game stretch, including a 15-of-24 shooting night against the nation's No. 6 ranked team.
Danzey finished the week 25-of-42 from the floor and 5-of-10 from 3-point land, while at the free-throw line, he was 16-of-20, including a 12-of-16 outing against Lambuth and four made foul shots in four attempts against Martin Methodist.

Division I Women's Player of the Week
Meghan Fuqua, a senior forward for Lambuth (Tenn.), has been named NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week after helping Lambuth to a pair of wins, including a seven-point victory over No. 11 Cumberland University.
Fuqua averaged 33.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in two contests last week, also compiling eight steals, seven of which were against Cumberland, a game in which she also pulled down nine rebounds and finished 3-of-7 from the 3-point arc.
On the week, Fuqua was 6-of-13 from 3-point land, part of her 20-of-35 from the floor, and at the foul line she finished the week 20-of-27, knocking down ten foul shots in each of Lambuth's two wins. She finished both games with 33 points, establishing a career-high against Cumberland and equaling it against Blue Mountain.

Division II Men's Player of the Week
Huntington (Ind.) senior Alex Kock has been named NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 30.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, while also eclipsing the 2,000-point mark in Huntington's win over Spring Arbor.
Kock helped Huntington to a 2-0 stretch that included a win over No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan, a game in which he scored 31 and pulled down 10 rebounds. Kock also had two assists, a block and a steal against IWU, finishing the game 5-of-5 from outside the 3-point arc.
Despite only five attempts at the foul line, Kock was 80 percent knocking down four, also finishing the week 7-of-10 on 3-point attempts and 25-of-40 from the field. In addition to his 31 points against IWU, Kock dropped in 30 against Spring Arbor.

Division II Women's Player of the Week
Madonna (Mich.) forward Martina Franklin has been named NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week after averages of 25.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. In helping Madonna to a 2-0 mark last week, she also averaged 3.5 steals.
Franklin opened the week with 21 points in a win over Michigan-Dearborn and followed with 29 against Cornerstone, a game in which she also had four steals and finished 12-of-17 from the floor. On the glass, Franklin pulled down 15 boards against Michigan-Dearborn and another 10 against Cornerstone.
Over two games, Franklin finished 22-of-34 from the floor and 6-of-16 from the foul line, grabbing seven steals, two assists and recording one block. Her 29-point outing in the week's second game also marked a career-high.
