A former athlete from Henderson State, Massey's education, career, and spare time have been spent helping organizations gain clarity on their intent and produce real results.
Massey began his career at Henderson State as a member of the tennis team, but switched to swimming following his freshman year. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration degree in 1978, he served as the men's swimming and tennis coach for the 1978-79 season. Additionally, in 1982 Massey completed his Masters of Science degree in Social Agency Administration.
Prior to starting Triangle2, Massey was the head of the YMCA of the USA Program Services Development and was responsible for researching trends and developing printed, electronic, training, and consulting resources. He held many positions within the YMCA, including CEO, Vice President for Operations, Senior Consultant, and Branch Executive Director.
Massey founded Triangle2 Partners to work exclusively with nonprofit organizations. The goal of the company is to help organizations produce extraordinary results. To do so, Massey has developed an integrated set of premium services called the Four Point Process. The services include research & analysis, strategic planning, leadership development, and team performance.
Massey is active in sports and coaching education as an advisor to the American Sports Education Program (Human Kinetics). He wrote YMCA Character Development, Programs On Purpose, and was co-author of Program Strategies for the `90's.
