Duhamel played quarterback for Minot State in Minot, N.D., while pursuing a Biology degree from 1991-96. Only one credit shy of graduation, Duhamel decided to pursue a modeling/acting career in California. He landed his first leading role as Dorian Gray, in an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. After
completing the film, he was notified to pack his bags and head for New York City, where he landed the role as Leo du Pres.
Duhamel also starred in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton and was named Cosmopolitan's 2005 Fun Fearless Male of the Year, joining the ranks of past honorees Jon Bon Jovi and Matthew Perry. Duhamel currently plays opposite James Caan as Danny McCoy in NBC's hit series Las Vegas and has landed the lead role in the new Disney film Antarctica.
Duhamel will complete his degree this spring, culminating at commencement, where he will serve as the featured speaker.
