"Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy. The NAIA is working with member institutions and the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference to work through issues that will arise due to this catastrophic situation. We will make every attempt to accommodate and assist our schools and their students in any way we can. Our goal is to support our member institutions, students and staff so that operating an intercollegiate athletic program does not become a burden and interfere with resolving much more pressing issues."
