Dillard University (New Orleans, La.)
Dillard has announced cancellation of its fall sports schedule.
The President and Provost have committed to all registered students that they will not lose academic credit for this academic year. The Provost is currently developing a plan to provide the required weeks of instruction. Once developed, the plan will be available on this website.

Loyola University (New Orleans, La.)
Loyola University New Orleans is closed for this semester and will reopen in January 2006.

University of Mobile (Mobile, Ala.)
Fall classes are underway.

Southern University-New Orleans (La.)
Southern University Baton Rouge is housing a hotline for students and employees of Southern University New Orleans. The hotline will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. indefinitely. Students seeking information and currently enrolled students at Southern University New Orleans with an interest in completing courses at Southern University Shreveport or Southern University Baton Rouge must call 1-866-334-7638. Every effort will be made to honor students request in this regard. Employees of Southern University New Orleans are asked to call 1-866-334-8294 to provide current status and obtain needed information.

Tougaloo College (Hattiesburg, Miss.)
Classes will resume Wednesday, September 7

William Carey University (Hattiesburg, Miss.)
Classes will resume September 19

Xavier University (New Orleans, La.)
Fall 2005 classes have been scheduled to resume on January 4, 2006.
