Freshman Danielle Dintino recorded her first collegiate hat trick, scoring all 3 of Vanguard's goals unassisted in a 3-0 win over Trinity International IL. She also scored a goal in the Lions' 3-0 win over Oklahoma Christian. Vanguard and both of its opponents for the week received votes in the most recent NAIA women's soccer ranking

Senior forward Sven Simon scored a pair of second-half goals after a scoreless first half in a 4-0 victory over Cumberlands KY, then 24 hous later he scored the "golden goal" with less than 3 minutes to play in the second overtime to lead the NAIA's No. 4-ranked Azusa Pacific to a 1-0 win over No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson KY.

Junior goalkeeper James Crawford registered a pair of shutouts, giving him 3 in 4 games this season. He had a pair of saves in the Cougars' 4-0 win over Cumberlands KY, then helped keep No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson KY scoreless through all of regulation and over 17 minutes of overtime before Azusa Pacific scored for the victory, its first-ever over Lindsey Wilson away from home.

Senior outside hitter Yudelka Bonilla registered 43 kills (3.6 k/g) with a .311 hitting percentage, 61 digs (5.1 d/g), 6 assist blocks, and 3 aces as No. 3-ranked California Baptist won all 3 of its matches last week, beating No. 2 Concordia, NCAA Division II No. 1-ranked Cal State San Bernardino, and Hope International. In the win at Concordia, she had 10 kills and 17 digs. In the victory over Cal State San Bernardino, Bonilla had 18 kills, 24 digs, 3 aces, and 2 assists. Finally against Hope International, she had 15 kills, 20 digs, and 2 assist blocks.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn helped California Baptist win all 3 of its matches last week with 128 assists (10.7 a/g), 19 digs, 4 aces, 4 kills, and an assist block. Her top performance was 53 assists, 2 kills, and an ace in the 4-game win at No. 2-ranked Concordia.

Sophomore 5-7 Libero San Carlos, Calif.
Sophomore libero Malinda Reese posted 82 serve receptions without an error last week, including 55 on the road against top-ranked Fresno Pacific. She also tallied 70 digs (10.0 d/g) for the week. The only error recorded against her last week was one of 25 serve attempts. In the game against The Master's, Reese surpassed the 2,000 digs mark and has extended her Westmont record to 2,057. Reese leads the nation with 8.46 digs per game.
