A 1980 graduate of Park University (Mo.), Janis Murray has made a name for herself in the television production industry.

Murray works as a camera operator for a variety of sporting events, both in the Kansas City area and nationally. She shoots Big 12 basketball at KU, Kansas State and Missouri, Kansas City Royals baseball games, Kansas City Wizards soccer games, hockey and high school sports. During the NFL season, Murray is on one of six production crews for CBS that travel the country each weekend for 18 weeks.

Her resume also includes working on the production crew for the World Series, Super Bowls, and the Olympic games in South Korea and Atlanta. Murray received an Emmy for her work at NBC during the 1988 Olympic games in Seoul, South Korea.
