Sophomore • 5-8 • Forward • Walnut, Calif.
Sophomore Theresa Broad scored No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific's first 2 goals in a 3-0 shutout over Westmont, then added an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over California Baptist. Broad has scored in each of Azusa Pacific's 4 GSAC contests this season, with 6 of her 8 goals on the season coming in conference play

WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER
JILL COLFER-MARTINSON • Azusa Pacific University
Senior • 5-9 • Goalkeeper • Sacramento, Calif.
Senior Jill Colfer-Martinson posted back-to-back shutouts over Westmont and California Baptist, helping lift the NAIA's No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific into sole possession of first place in the GSAC standings. Colfer-Martinson, who owns the Cougar career record for shutouts with 40, has blanked 3 straight opponents and now has 6 shutouts on the season. With Colfer-Martinson in goal, Azusa Pacific has shut out 7 straight opponents at home, part of a 30-game home unbeaten streak.

MEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER
JEFF NEUNER • Menlo College
Junior • 5-11 • Midfielder • Elk Grove, Calif.
Junior forward Jeff Neuner scored his first career hat trick and then added another goal as Menlo split a pair of games last week. He scored his teams' lone goal in a 2-1 setback to UC Santa Cruz, and then tallied 3 goals and an assist in the Oaks' 8-1 win over Cal State Maritime, giving the Oaks a win in their conference opener.

MEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER
TREVOR HERRERA • Vanguard University
Freshman • 5-10 • Goalkeeper • Lake Forest, Calif.
Freshman goalkeeper Trevor Herrera posted his second and third shutouts of the season as Vanguard knocked off No. 17 Point Loma Nazarene and The Master's by the score of 1-0 last week. Herrera stopped all 11 shots on goal in 180 minutes of play.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER
LAURA TRUDELLE • Westmont College
Junior • 6-0 • Outside Hitter • Portola Valley, Calif.
Junior outside hitter Laura Trudelle had 34 kills (4.25 k/g) with a .389 hitting percentage, with 14 digs, 2 blocks (1 solo) and 1 ace as Westmont won both of its conference matches last week.  Trudelle led Westmont to an upset of No. 8-ranked Point Loma Nazarene with a .486 hitting percentage, 20 kills, 17 serve receptions with only 1 error, and 9 digs.

VOLLEYBALL SETTER
KAYLA VAN DUYN • California Baptist University
Senior • 5-10 • Setter • Ripon, Calif.
Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn had 98 assists (14.0 a/g), 16 digs (2.3 d/g), 2 kills and 2 aces as No. 2-ranked California Baptist won both of its matches against ranked GSAC teams last week.  She recorded 49 assists in the 4-game win at No. 16 Vanguard and another 49 assists in the 3-game victory over No. 4 Biola.

VOLLEYBALL LIBERO
KATRINA CLARK • California Baptist University
Junior • 5-3 • Libero • Riverside, Calif.
Junior libero for California Baptist, Katrina Clark tallied 36 digs (5.1 d/g) against 2 top-25 NAIA teams, including a sweep of No. 4-ranked Biola.  For the week, she had a serve reception percentage of 1.000 with no errors in 66 attempts and a .931 serving percentage with 2 aces.
