WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER

Freshman 5-2 Forward San Diego, Calif.
Freshman Lizzy Bendrick recorded a goal and an assist as unranked California Baptist won both of its GSAC games last week. She assisted on the game-winner at No. 5-ranked Point Loma Nazarene. Bendrick then scored the game-winner against Fresno Pacific with a 30-yard shot over the keeper.

Junior 5-10 Goalkeeper Riverside, Calif.
Junior goalkeeper Suzanne Torres made 15 saves and didn't allow a goal as No. 10-ranked Concordia registered a win and a tie in GSAC play last week. In the win against No. 18 Vanguard, she made 3 saves while recording a 4-0 shutout. In the 0-0 double-overtime tie at Westmont, Torres had 12 saves in 84 minutes of play.

Sophomore 5-11 Forward Cologne, Germany
Sophomore forward Mustafa Celik scored 4 goals and assisted on another as Holy Names won both of its games last week. In a 5-0 win at Pacific Union, Celik scored twice. He then had 2 goals and an assist in a 7-0 win at William Jessup.

Senior 5-11 Goalkeeper Shelby Township, Mich.
Senior goalkeeper Mike Borst posted 2 shutouts as No. 1-ranked Concordia won both of its conference games last week and remains undefeated. Borst stopped all 8 shots on goal in 180 minutes of play in both 1-0 shutouts of Vanguard at home and Westmont on the road. Borst now has 8 shutouts on the season and a GSAC-low 0.28 goals against average.

Senior outside hitter Fabiana Leomil recorded 29 kills (4.8 k/g) with a .371 hitting percentage, 15 digs (2.5 d/g), 3 aces, and 6 blocks (1 solo) as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won both of its conference games and remained undefeated. In the win at No. 6 Azusa Pacific, she had 12 kills, 2 aces, and 3 assist blocks. In the victory over No. 2 California Baptist, Leomil had 17 kills, 11 digs, and 3 blocks (1 solo).

Junior setter Shu Liu had 68 assists (11.3 a/g), 24 digs (4.0 d/g), 2 blocks (1 solo), and 13 kills (2.2 k/g) with a .524 hitting percentage in NAIA top-ranked Fresno Pacific's 3-game sweeps of top-10 ranked GSAC opponents. In the win at No. 6 Azusa Pacific, Shu Liu had 35 assists, 6 kills, and 12 digs. Against California Baptist, she had 33 assists, 7 kills, 12 digs, and an ace.

Sophomore libero Tiffany Marinos tallied 48 digs (8 d/g) against 2 top-10 NAIA teams as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won both of its GSAC matches and extended its winning streak to 12 matches in the conference and 21 matches overall. For the week, she had a serve reception percentage of 1.000 and a .931 serving percentage with 1 ace.
