For Cynthia Doyle-Perkins, sports has always been a part of her life. As a three-sport athlete at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, Doyle Perkins earned All-Conference honors throughout her career. At one time, she held 13 women's track & field records at the school- four still stand today.
Doyle-Perkins took her love of sport and parlayed into a professional career. As the assistant director of the National Federation of State High School Assocations and liaison for its national equity committee, Doyle-Perkins educated high schools across the nation on how to handle issues dealing with situations such as Title IX and compliance with the American Disabilities Association. She also edits rule bookds and tests for officials for a variety of high school sporting events.
Doyle-Perkins is an active member of the African American Alumni Association (AAAA).
