The NAIA welcomed Dan Boyd in August as 2007-08’s Championships Intern. Dan is responsible for assisting the championship event administrators in preparation for all 23 national championship events. He coordinates the distribution of championship information and distributes and collects conference and region tournament plans. Serving as the assistant to the awards coordinator and helping to update sport coaches manuals, Dan is vital to the success of each of our sponsored sports.
Before coming to the NAIA, Dan served as a Football Game Operations Intern and Coaching Intern for the Omaha Beef, a minor league indoor football team. In his year with the Beef, Dan gained experience writing press releases, and coordinating try-outs for players and national anthem singers. He also assisted with practice and game day duties.
A May 2007 graduate of Bellevue University, Dan earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management. Born in Kansas City, MO, but raised in Omaha, NE, Dan returns to the area as a resident of Mission, KS.
