As the NAIA’s Champions of Character Program Coordinator, Kathy Busch coordinates all Champions of Character activities, local programming, materials, and evaluation.  She is also responsible for NAIA convention registration this year.

Prior to joining the NAIA in 2005, Kathy enjoyed several years as a physical education teacher at various levels of secondary education in the state of Kansas. In addition to teaching, Kathy was a youth softball coach for 10 years.

Kathy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kansas in 1975. She returned to KU and received her Master of Science in Education in 1986. A lifelong Kansas City resident, Kathy and her husband Tom currently live in Overland Park, KS.
