Staci works with various departments throughout the NAIA on association-wide public relations and communications campaigns. In her time with the NAIA she has helped establish and further relationships with local and national media outlets. Staci coordinates NAIA special events and plays a major role in furthering the NAIA’s brand and image as outlined in the association’s strategic plan. She is part of a team at the national office that coordinates all press releases and maintains www.naia.org and championsofcharacter.org. She is actively involved with 23 national championship events and numerous local initiatives for the NAIA’s flagship program Champions of Character.
Before Staci joined the NAIA she was Associate Manager of Community and Public Relations for the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. There she was part of a winning team that went to the national championship game on two occasions winning the title in 2000.
Staci received a Bachelor of Science in Business, concentration in Marketing and Management, and Minor in Accounting from Baker University (Kan.). While at Baker Staci competed in tennis. She was named All-Conference in 1996, 1997 and 1998 and was a national team qualifier in 1997 and 1998.
Staci was named a 2008 recipient of the NACWAA Judith M. Sweet Commitment Award.
A NACMA member and native of Albert Lea, MN, Staci currently resides in Kansas City, MO.
