Athletics Administration

Quality experiences for student-athletes – on and off the field – depend on the dedicated efforts of faculty and staff at each NAIA institution.  Directors of athletics and faculty athletics representatives coordinate campus-wide efforts throughout the year to ensure fair and equitable opportunities for more than 50,000 young men and women.

Athletics Directors

As the operational leaders for NAIA athletics programs, athletics directors are represented throughout the NAIA governance structure and serve on a wide variety of NAIA committees. For AD resources, cick here.

Faculty Athletics Representatives

Faculty athletics representatives (FAR’s) are appointed by each campus CEO to safeguard the primacy of the institution’s educational mission and ensure that all participants are eligible according to institutional, conference and NAIA rules. 

Gender Equity Committee

The NAIA Gender Equity Committee serves to raise the level of awareness about issues related to women in sport and to facilitate the advancement of both men and women in sport and in the governance of all phases of the NAIA. It comprises 9 members, including representatives from each of the NAIA governing councils and at-large appointments.
