August 19- Preseason national rating - available by 5pm (CST) at www.naia.org.

August 24 - Have you joined AVCA? Join online at www.avca.org or call 719-576-7777.

September 9 - First weekly nominations for NAIA Volleyball Weekly National Honors.  Conference/ independent nominations are due to the NAIA national office by 5pm (CST) Mondays, ending November 11.   

Reminder…All weekly statistical reports must be submitted online via the Dakstats/Websync feature.  See Section VI.E.-Statistics in the volleyball coaches manual for additional information.

September 9 - Weekly ratings begin – available after 5pm (CST) at www.naia.org, ending November 16. (September 9, 16, 23, 30 October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11, 16)

November 3 - DEADLINE for potential national championship opening round host institutions to submit bids to the NAIA national office.

November 7 - RECEIPT DEADLINE for submitting Buffalo Funds Five Star Champions of Character Team Award nomination forms to NAIA national office.

November 7 - RECEIPT DEADLINE for submitting official team roster (Appendix E) to the NAIA national office.

November 7 - RECEIPT DEADLINE for submitting Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Nomination Form (Appendix I) to Tom Van Den Bosch, Scholar-Athlete Coordinator, Dordt College, 498 4th Avenue N.E., Sioux Center, IA  51250-1697.

November 11 - DEADLINE for conference/A.I.I. volleyball chairs to submit participating teams and brackets for conference/A.I.I. playoffs to NAIA national office.

November 12 - RECEIPT DEADLINE submitting potential qualifiers’ official postseason roster (Appendix E) and team photo to Sioux City Convention Center, ATTN Spero Vlahoulis, 801 4th St., Sioux City, IA 51101. Also fax roster to NAIA national office (816-595-8200).

November 15 - DEADLINE for completion of conference/A.I.I. tournaments.  Enter tournament results on NAIA Scoreboard at www.naia.org.

November 16 - RELEASE of final rating, national championship field and opening round matchups.

November 18 - DEADLINE for national office to receive the All-Conference/Independent team selections from the conference/independent commissioners. 

November 20 - POSTING of All-Conference/Independent teams at www.naia.org by 5pm (CST).

November 22 - 29th ANNUAL NAIA VOLLEYBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Opening Round, played at campus sites nationwide.

November 24 - DEADLINE for NAIA national office to receive AVCA-NAIA All Region Team selections from the AVCA-NAIA committee chairs.

December 2-6 - 29th ANNUAL NAIA VOLLEYBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Final Site, Tyson Events Center, Sioux City, IA.

December 5 - RELEASE of Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes at www.naia.org.

December 6 - RELEASE of NAIA National Tournament Coach of the Year, All-Tournament Teams, Tournament MVP by NAIA Department of Sports IInformation.

December 8 - RELEASE of NAIA Volleyball All-America teams and Player of the Year by the NAIA Department of Sports Information.

December 8 - RELEASE of the Tachikara-NAIA-AVCA National Volleyball Coach of the Year and National Player of the Year by the AVCA.

December 17-21 - AVCA Annual Convention, Omaha, NE.

December 19 - NAIA-VCA Annual Business Meeting.

June 30, 2009 - RECEIPT DEADLINE for Scholar Team nomination forms.  Send to NAIA national office, ATTN NAIA Scholar Team Award.
