    52nd Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships

    All-Session Pass - $40.00

    Single-Session Adult - $12.00
    Single-Session Child (Ages 3-12) - $5.00

    Format:

    The NAIA Wrestling National Championship has ten weight classes:  125 pounds, 133 pounds, 141 pounds, 149 pounds, 157 pounds, 165 pounds, 174 pounds, 184 pounds, 197 pounds and 285 pounds.  Each weight class conducts a double-elimination tournament.  Consolation matches are conducted to determine 3rd, 5th and 7th place.

    Qualification:

    Wrestlers qualify for the national championship through one of two avenues:  1.) By placing (specific criteria outlined in NAIA Coaches’ Handbook) in an intercollegiate tournament during the 2008-09 season; or 2.) By placing in the top 4 places in their respective national qualifying group (Central, East, North, West) tournament. 

    Official Party: 

    The official party includes all qualifying wrestlers, two coaches and one trainer per team. The maximum number of wrestlers entered per team is 12.

    Credentials:

    Event credentials will be provided for all qualifying participants.  Four additional credentials (Official Party) will be given per competing team.  Credentials will also be available for media. Teams can purchase an additional four Official Party credentials for support staff at $30 each at registration.  No one will be allowed on the arena floor without a credential.

    Team Arrival:

    Team must arrive in Oklahoma City by noon (Central) on Wednesday, March 4.
