Host a Championship
The NAIA has 18 opportunities to bring economic impact to your area to host a championship each year. Many factors are considered when determining the location of each championship. Click on each sport below to learn what is required to host a championship. These requirements could include facilities and parking, hotel room availability, participation by host personnel, security, budget, sponsorship, marketing, insurance, medical services and event timeline.

• Home field/court advantage; exciting event for your local fan base; showcase your institution as a national championship host (great for recruiting!)
• Revenue opportunities from ticket and souvenir sales; positive economic impact (and potential corporate partnerships) in your community
• Minimized missed class time for your student-athletes, who also enjoy the comfort of staying in their own surroundings; avoid last-minute travel hassles
• Travel costs savings; in most cases, the money spent on traveling to an opening round site (minus any reimbursements) could be significantly higher than the cost to host.
