April 11, 2007
OLATHE, Kan. - With 20-of-23 first place votes, Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) remained the No. 1 ranked team in the NAIA Baseball Top 25, topping Azusa Pacific (Calif.), Oklahoma City and Auburn Montgomery (Ala.), who stayed put in an unchanged Top 4 to the poll.
St. Thomas (Fla.) and Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) switched places at No. 5 and No. 6, followed by Tennessee Wesleyan, Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Bellevue (Neb.), who each jumped two spots. Lubbock Christian (Texas) jumped five spots to the No. 10 position to round out the Top 10, while Lee (Tenn.) and Texas Wesleyan each fell out of the Top 10.
The poll's largest jump belonged to Belhaven (Miss.), who climbed from No. 19 last week to No. 11 this week. For the first time since the first rating of the season, the Top 25 remained in tact, as no teams fell out and no new teams entered the rating in its fifth poll of the 2007 season.
