KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ryan Fiegi of Oregon Tech has been selected as the NAIA Men's Basketball Division II Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 31, 2007-Jan. 6, 2008.
Fiegi, a 6-7 senior forward from Medfor, Ore., averaged 27.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals in two road wins for the Hustlin' Owls. In the first game last week, Fiegi posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the 74-65 win at Corban (Oreg.) on Jan. 4. He answered that effort with a career-best 41 points on 13-of-23 field goals in the 81-79 road victory at Concordia (Ore.) on Saturday.
