OLATHE, Kan. - Dominican (Calif.) forward Pat Fahy has been named NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 27.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while hitting 18-of-27 from the floor (67 percent).
Fahy scored a game-high 31 points and snatched six rebounds in a win over Pacific Union (Calif.), shooting 10-of-15 (67 percent) from the field. He also shot 5-of-8 from behind the three-point line and was perfect from the free throw line. Against Bethany, the sophomore had team-highs with 23 points and seven rebounds, while going 7-of-8 from behind the three point line.
Fahy recorded three assists in the win over Pacific Union and two more against Bethany, while his only two blocks of the week also came against Bethany and his lone steal in the two-game stretch came against Pacific Union.
For the week, Fahy finished 12-of-16 from 3-point land (75 percent) and 6-of-8 (75 percent) from the free throw stripe.
