FAYETTE, Mo. -- The Central Methodist University (Mo.) Men's Basketball team reach a milestone on Thursday (Jan. 24) night as senior Anthony Love surpassed the 1,000 point mark as the Runnin' Eagles defeated the #3 ranked team in NAIA, Evangel University (Mo.).

The Wentzville, Mo., native finished the Evangel win with 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals as Central Methodist handed Evangel University their first conference loss in a 59-55 victory.

Love currently has a career total of 1,007 point and is the 29^th Runnin' Eagle to join the 1,000 point club.  The Runnin' Eagles have won their last six games and have moved to 11-8 overall, 7-3 in conference play, and currently sit in third place in the HAAC Conference standings.
