OLATHE, Kan. - For the second-straight week, Bellevue (Neb.) earned enough first-place votes, 13, to earn the No. 1 ranking in NAIA Division II Men's Basketball, staying nine points ahead of MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.), who earned four first-place considerations this week.
Point Park (Pa.) moved up three spots to No. 3 after clinching a conference divisional title, while Warner Pacific (Ore.) also climbed, moving to No. 4 in the season's ninth rating. Huntington (Ind.) moved up three spots to fill out the top five after knocking off Indiana Wesleyan, who fell from No. 3 last week to No. 10 this week. Also in the Top 10 are No. 6 Oregon Tech and No. 8 Walsh (Ohio), while No. 7 Kansas Wesleyan moved up two spots to the highest ranking in Coyote basketball history.
Evangel (Mo.) made the rating's largest leap, entering the rating at No. 17 after spending previous weeks unranked. Northwest (Wash.) is the only remaining school to enter the poll in its ninth week, as Northwest is one of four Cascade Conference members in the Top 25.
