Dakota Wesleyan Knocks off No. 18 Northwestern, 13-10
The Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University football team used a stellar defensive effort, a rejuvenated running game and a clutch kick to upset 18th-ranked Northwestern (Iowa) College 13-10 in Saturday's (Nov. 7) Great Plains Athletic Conference game at Joe Quintal Field.

No. 6 Saint Xavier Gets Perfect Season; Claims First MSFA Crown
There were plenty of firsts for the No. 6 ranked Saint Xavier (Ill.) University football team Saturday (Nov. 7) at Bishop John M. D'arcy Stadium in Fort Wayne, Ind. A 36-24 victory over No. 8 University of Saint Francis (Ind.) solidified the Cougars' first perfect regular season (11-0) as well as the team's first Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast League title (7-0).
