Prairie Center - The rich natural history of Kansas has been preserved with 300 acres of native tall grass prairie, woodlands and creeks, a 5-acre lake provides fishing and 6 miles of trails provide hiking and cross-country skiing. 
Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site - Tour the Mahaffie House, on the National Historic Register, with its two-foot-thick native limestone walls, an ice house and wood peg barn. Visit the blacksmith shop, gift shop and the livestock. Attend the many festivals and special events held here.
Ensor Park and Museum - Home of Marshall Ensor, an Olathe teacher and pioneer in amateur radio, it is a National Historic Site and A Kansas Historic Place. Architecture typical of 1890's middle income homes is on display in both the barn and farmhouse. Contents of the house include antiques, furniture, utensils, quilts and clothing, and ham radio equipment.
Ernie Miller Nature Park - Enjoy 113 acres of habitats tall grass prairie, u
pland meadows, woodlands, and streams, made convenient through paved hiking trails, an education center and an outdoor amphitheater. Hike one of three trails, study an owl or hawk undergoing rehabilitation, marvel at the work of an indoor/outdoor beehive, and browse unique items at the nature center gift shop.
Heritage Park - Golf course with clubhouse, putting and driving range; volleyball, football, soccer, softball, restrooms, and concession. Paths for jogging, bicycling, and horseback riding, off leash area for dogs, three playgrounds, picnic tables, grills, a marina, fishing lake.
