2. Midland Lutheran (Neb.) - GPAC Conference @ Landsmeer G.C. - Orange City, IA, T-4th, 310 + 301 = 611. Didn't play their best, but still hung around...still team to beat in Region III Meet next week.

3. Dordt (Iowa) - GPAC Conference @ Landsmeer G.C. - Orange City, IA, 3rd, 314 + 296 = 610. Finished nicely down the stretch; played well when it mattered.

4. Morningside (Iowa) - GPAC Conference @ Landsmeer G.C. - Orange City, IA, T-4th, 306 + 305 = 311. Playing good at the right time - will have a chance at making Nationals.

5. Hastings (Neb.) - GPAC Conference @ Landsmeer G.C. - Orange City, IA, 6th, 315 + 300 = 615. Good day two score, but not best effort on day one.

6. Jamestown (N.D.) - no events due to weather @ , , . Region III qualifier from DAC Conference. Good 5-man squad.

Illinois and St. Ambrose; beat several NCAA I's; NAIA Classic @ Brickyards Crossing, 6th, 311-307=618. Very strong showing at highly competitive tourney; beat #17 Malone, and #22 Cumberland, KY

1. Malone (Ohio) - Mount Vernon Invite @ Apple Valley, 1st of 10, 302 / 288. Came back from an 11 stroke defecit and did not have one player on all tourney team. Demonstrates teamwork and not an individual effort; NAIA Preview @ Brickyard @ Brickyard 500, T-9 of 15, 303 / 325. Second day collapse, but not indicitive of team.. much stronger than this showing (all scores except an elite few ballooned on day two); Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, 1st of 9, 287 / 290. Held of furious charge by Tiffin and others. Set tournament record for two day total that stood for many, many years.

2. Tiffin (Ohio) - Mount Vernon Invite @ Apple Valley, 2nd of 10, 296 / 299. Two solid days of scoring. Beat Walsh and only lost to Malone by 5 strokes; NAIA Preview @ Brickyard @ Brickyard 500, T-11 of 15, 310 / 319. Continued to take chances by playing with the best in the country and except for second day score, hung with the elite teams. Only finished 1 stroke behind Cumberlands and Malone.; Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, 2nd of 9, 294 / 290. Another strong two days of scoring. Medalist from TU (freshman) set two day scoring record by shooting a -4 par. Team is really meshing and has momentum going into Region IX Championships

3. Walsh (Ohio) - Mount Vernon Invite @ Apple Valley, T-3 of 10, 291 - 307. Great score on day one, but slipped to finish behind Malone and Tiffin; Cedarville Invite @ Beavercreek/CC of the North, 1st of 8, 319 - 298. Big scores for all teams on day 1, but excellent finish on day 2 to capture win by 7 strokes. Beat Campbellsville by 23 strokes.; Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, 5th of 9, 310 - 293. Poor score on familiar course on day 1, but good comeback on day two with sub 300 score. Finished 26 strokes behind Malone and 19 behind Tiffin.

3. Ohio Dominican - Cedarville Invite @ Beavercreek/CC of the North, 2nd of 8, 325 / 299. Only team beside Walsh to fire sub 300 round at tough Nicklaus Course. Was trailing leader by 16 strokes after day 1, but came back nicely; Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, T-3 of 9, 301 / 294. Two good days of scoring in very competitive tourney. Will contend for AMC and Region IX Title

5. Cedarville (Ohio) - Mount Vernon Invite @ Apple Valley, T-3 of 10, 300 / 298. Aplle Valley is host to AMC-Region Championship and to put up solid two days of numbers shows they are ready. ; Cedarville Invite @ Beavercreek/CC of the North, 3rd of 8, 309 / 316. Good score on day one - Fuzzy Zoeller Course yielded big numbers by all teams. Let lead slip away in day two. #1 man Scott Aker was Medalist.; Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, 6th of 9, 302 / 305. Good scores, but field played well.

6. Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) - Mount Vernon Invite @ Apple Valley, 6th of 10, 303 / 309. Derek Clark was medalist with scores of 70-71 (1 under par); Cedarville Invite @ Beavercreek/CC of the North, 6th of 8, 331 / 322. Two day total shows inconsistency; Malone Invite @ Tannenhauf, T-3 of 9, 301 / 294. Two day total shows potential

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) - Campbellsville Inv. @ Old Silo CC, 1st, 298. actually lost playoff to Campbellsville but one of CU's players was DQ for too many clubs in the bag; Old Bridge Inv. @ Old Brodge GC, 1st, 292. Only four teams in tournament; Mid-South COnf. @ London CC, 2nd, 288-300-588. Lost playoff to Campbellsville for championship; Region XI TOur @ London CC, 1st, 288-300-282-870. Two really good rounds including 2-under par the last round

2. Campbellsville (Ky.) - Campbellsville Inv. @ Old SIlo GC, 2nd, 298. Actually won playoff with Lindsey but lost due to player getting DQ; Mid-South COnf. @ London CC, 1st, 296-292-588. won playoff with Lindsey Wilson ; Region XI Tour. @ London CC, 2nd, 296-292-292-880. Played really well despite losing to LWC

3. Cumberlands (Ky.) - NAIA Classic @ Brickyard Crossing, t9th, 309-319-628. tied Malone for ninth place against very good field of teams on great golf course; Mid-South Conf. @ London CC, 3rd, 307-299-606. really bad first round; Region XI @ London CC, 5th, 307-299-298-904.

Beat Berry and Shorter; NAIA Classic @ Brickyard Crossing GC, 3rd, 299-309=608. finished ahead of Missouri Baptist, Lindenwood, Malone; SE Kentucky Intercollegiate @ Crooked Creek GC, 2nd, 310-304=614. Finished behind only Lindenwood

3. Berry (Ga.) - Region XIII Championship @ Meadowlinks GC, 4th, 292-305-288=885. Finished behind Mobile, Lee, and Shorter; Southern States Conference @ The Lion, 2nd, 309-303=612. Finished behind Lee but ahead of Shorter; BMW Collegiate @ Verdae Greens GC, 9th, 313-317=630. Punched greens made scoring hard
