OLATHE, Kan. - Oklahoma City earned all 12 first-place votes for the second-straight rating, beating out Region VI rivals Oklahoma Christian and Wayland Baptist (Texas) in the final NAIA Men's Golf Top 25 Coaches Poll of the 2007 campaign.
The first nine positions in the poll remained unchanged from the rating's last installment, but at No. 10, California State-San Marcos moved two spots into the Top 10 from its No. 12 spot in the last rating. Berry (Ga.) also made a two-spot swing, going from No. 13 to No. 11 this week.
Two previously unranked teams jumped into the poll - No. 20 Shorter (Ga.) and No. 25 Concordia (Calif.). The NAIA Men's Golf National Championship tournament will take place May 22-25 at Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind. Team qualifiers will be available Friday afternoon by logging on to www.naia.org.
