ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its Daktronics-NAIA Men's Track and Field Scholar-Athlete recipients for 2007-08. To be honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must hold junior or senior academic standing and have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
There are a total of 167 student-athletes that have earned the award on the men's side. In all, 71 different NAIA institutions are represented on the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete squad. Tabor College (Kan.) and Malone College (Ohio) share the honor for the most individuals on the list with seven.
