FORT WORTH, Texas - Oklahoma City University coach Brian Harvey recorded his 300th men's soccer victory as Ryan Trudgian knocked in the winning goal in the Stars' 2-1 overtime win over Texas Wesleyan on Saturday.
With OCU's 3-0 start, Harvey has a 300-135-20 record in his 22nd season coaching men's college soccer. Harvey's overall record including women's play is 515-193-35. Harvey is his 14th season coaching the OCU women.
Trudgian, a senior from St. Austell, England, scored the game winner 7:42 into overtime.
Texas Wesleyan scored 5:22 into the match, but Trudgian knotted the score at 1-1 off Luke Garvey's feed in the 23rd minute.
Stars goaltender Dustin Nolan had four saves while keeping Texas Wesleyan at bay.
