Joe Yoffe of Embry-Riddle University (XIV) was selected as the NAIA National Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 17, 2006.
Yoffe, a sophomore forward from Manchester, England scored all four goals in a conference win against Northwood (Fla.). On Friday, he recorded his third straight multiple-goal performance with a hat trick against No. 21 Mobile and followed up with a game-tying goal on Saturday versus No. 2 Rio Grande. He has also scored in every match for the Eagles this season.
