Bjorn Asbjornsson of Webber International University (Fla.) was selected as the NAIA National Men's Soccer Player of the week, for the week ending September 24th, 2006.

Asbjornsson, a junior forward from Reykjavic, Iceland, scored four goals in two games for Webber International.. His first goal came against Florida Southern a NCAA division II school, and followed it up with a hat-trick on the road in a win against #1 Embry Riddle University.
