Men’s Soccer Game of the Week

This week’s Men’s Soccer Game of the Week features Sooner Athletic Conference rivals Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma City, who are both currently ranked in the Top 10. Southern Nazarene is led by midfielders Damian Gunaratne and Mike Bray, who have each netted five goals on the year.  Head coach George Schroeder has guided the Crimson Storm to an 8-3-1 record and No. 8 ranking this season.

Oklahoma City enters the game at 14-1-0 and ranked No. 2 in the country.  Sophomore Chris Spendlove leads the Stars in scoring with eight goals this season.  Oklahoma City is led by head coach Brian Harvey.

These teams last met in the NAIA Region VI Tournament championship game last season.  Southern Nazarene came away with a 1-0 victory.
