Allan Nekuda of William Jewell College (Mo.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 29, 2006.

Nekuda, a senior midfielder from Liberty, Missouri, scored 3 goals and had three assists last week in conference wins over Avila University (6-1) and Missouri Valley College (4-0). The wins helped William Jewell to a perfect 9-0 conference championship. Nekuda also broke the William Jewell all-time assist record in their win against Missouri Valley.
