KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2008 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletic (NAIA) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships will be held February 27-March 1 at the Palo Alto Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas.  The 52nd Annual Men's and 28th Annual Women's Championship events will be hosted by Palo Alto College.

The Palo Alto Natatorium has a standing tradition of organizing successful swimming and diving events for organizations from across the country.  It was built in 1991 and has hosted the U.S. Open, the USA Swimming Junior Olympics, the Olympic Festival, several NCAA Championships and the 1993, 1995, 1996 and 2007 NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships.

In 2007 California Baptist captured both men's and women's titles.  The Lancer men won their second straight championship with a score of 937.5 while Lindenwood (Mo.) finished second with 499 points.  The Cal Baptist women won their third consecutive title scoring 738.5 points to beat Simon Fraser (B.C.), who tallied 584 points.
