KANSAS CITY, Mo. - California Baptist earned the top spot in the season's first NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving Coaches’ Poll. The Lancers, defending national champions, earned three first place votes and 31 total points.
Fresno Pacific (Calif.) received two first place votes and claimed the second spot in the poll with 23 total points while No. 3 SCAD (Ga.) earned 14 total points and No. 4 Cumberlands (Ky.) received eight points. Simon Fraser (B.C.) and Concordia (Calif.) both tied for fifth with five points each.
The second poll will be released on Tuesday, January 27.
