Auburn Montgomery Doubles Squad Captures "Super Bowl" Victory

The doubles tandem of Alberto Gonzalez and Michael Johnson have won the ITA Super Bowl and will now move on to the NCAA Indoor National Championships hosted by Yale University on Nov. 3. The duo will face doubles teams from the best teams of NCAA Division I teams at the indoor championships.

Berhane was awarded the Arthur Ashe Jr. Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship.

LCSC's Berhane receives national Arthur Ashe Award

For the second straight year, the Lewis-Clark State College tennis program has produced one of the NAIA national winners for the Arthur Ashe Jr. Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship. Jonatan Berhane, a senior from Stockholm, Sweden, was the NAIA men's winner of the prestigious award, which recognizes one outstanding male and female player from each level of competition for exhibiting outstanding sportsmanship and leadership, as well as scholastic, extracurricular and tennis achievements.
