KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Auburn University Montgomery (Ala.) sits on top of the final 2008 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Tennis Top 25 Coaches' Poll, announced today (April 30).The Senators received 12 out of 13 first-place votes for a total of 324 total points. AUM finishes the regular season with a 22-1 record and will try for its third consecutive national title and eighth overall.
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Fla.) moved up one spot this week to grab a share of this week's No. 2 ranking. The Eagles captured their fourth straight regional crown after defeating Savannah College of Art and Design and head to national championships with a 17-2 record.
Fresno Pacific University (Calif.) held tight at No.2. The undefeated Sunbirds notched one first-place vote and total of 306 points to tie with AUM.
Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) and California Baptist University remained at their previous No. 4 and No. 5 spots to round out the final top five.
