OLATHE, Kan. - Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) went wire-to-wire at No. 1 in the NAIA Men's Tennis Top 25 Coaches' Poll, earning 13 first-place votes to stay atop the rating in its final week. The Senators held off Azusa Pacific, who earned 306 points and stayed at No. 2.
The first seven teams in the rating didn't budge this week, as Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) slid in to the Top 10 at No. 8, followed by Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) and Lee (Tenn.), who climbed in at No. 10 after spending last week at No. 12.
The Top 25 remained in tact this week as well, as no team inside the Top 25 moved more than three spots and No. 25 Xavier (La.) earned its spot in the rating after beating out the next closest team to the Top 25 by 14 rating points.
The NAIA Men's and Women's National Championship Tournaments are scheduled for May 14-18 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
