Official Tournament Bracket | Championship Central

OLATHE, Kan. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the bracket for the 2007 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tournament. The tournament, in its 56th consecutive season, will be played at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.

Unseeded qualifiers will square off on Monday, May 14, beginning at 9 a.m., and the winners of Monday's first round matches will move on to the second round to take on the eight seeded qualifiers, headed by No. 1 Auburn Montgomery (Ala.). No. 2 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) is also seeded in the field, followed by Embry-Riddle (Fla.), Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), Fresno Pacific (Calif.), Vanguard (Calif.), Savannah Art & Design (Ga.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).

Second Round matches begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, and winners will move into quarterfinal play which is slated for Wednesday, May 16. Quarterfinal winners move into semifinal action May 17, and the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship will be decided in the title match, which is slated for Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. in Mobile.

AUM took last season's championship match over Azusa Pacific in a 5-0 decision, and the Senators begin their quest for a second-straight title May 15 at 9 a.m. Azusa will play its second round match at 10:30 a.m. On day one, Aquinas (Mich.) plays Union (Ky.) at 10:30 a.m., while all other first-round matches begin at 9 a.m.

All four quarterfinal matches are scheduled for a 9 a.m. start, while both semifinal matches also begin at 9 a.m.
