KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Malone College (Ohio) earned 21 first place votes to remain No. 1 in the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Pioneers received 622 total points.
Embry-Riddle (Fla.) moved up a spot to No. 2 with one first place vote and 588 total points. Azusa Pacific (Calif.) (579 points) jumped up three spots to No. 3 while Aquinas (Mich.) (560 points) jumped two spots to No. 4. Both teams were tied at No. 6 last week. California State-San Marcos moved into top-five at No. 5 with 528 points.
Concordia (Neb.) dropped a spot from last week to No. 6 with 504 points. No. 7 Indiana Tech and No. 8 Huntington (Ind.) both moved into the top-10 with 465 and 450 points respectively. Concordia (Ore.) remained at No. 9 with 445 points while Black Hills State (S.D.) dropped eight spots to No. 10 with 422 points.
The fifth regular season top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 7th.
