KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The top five spot stayed the same and Malone College (Ohio) earned six of the seven first place votes to remain No. 1 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) men's cross country ratings. The Pioneers have extended their streak to five weeks, after moving into the top spot in the pre-season ratings.
Aquinas (Mich.) compiled 202 total points to stay at No. 2 while Azusa Pacific (Calif.) earned 198 total points and a first place vote to remain at No. 3. Cornerstone (Mich.) received 188 total points to stay No. 4 and Concordia (Calif.) compiled 182 points for the fifth spot to round out the top five.
The next regular season Top 25 Poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
