Virginia Intermont College's men's cross country team was the feature of ChasingTradition.com, an online web journal chronicling behind-the-scenes details of eleven of the top college cross country programs in the nation. After ten weeks at programs ranging from NCAA champions University of Colorado to Ohio State and Notre Dame, site journalist Matt Taylor spent the week on the Virginia Intermont campus in Bristol, Va. and traveled with the team to the NAIA National championships in Louisville, Ky. The Cobras won their second consecutive championship this year.
The Chasingtradition.com web site features daily essays detailing the training programs of the selected teams, as well as interviews with coaches and athletes, photos, features, a discussion board and articles by guest writers.
The teams chronicled this fall also included the University of Portland, Georgetown, William & Mary, Iona, Dartmouth, NCAA DII champions Adams State and Wisconsin La Crosse.
