OLATHE, Kan. - Brittany Smart of Cedarville (Ohio) has been selected as the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball player of the week after scoring 29.5 points per game, including 32 in a one-point win over Bethel (Ind.) and 27 against Warner Southern (Fla.).
Smart also averaged 6.0 rebounds per game and had 10 assists on the week, while also blocking four shots against Bethel to total five in the two-game stretch. She finished the week 20-of-37 from the floor and 16-of-21 from the foul line (76.0 percent), while notching three steals in each game to average 3.0 for the week.
