KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jackie Murphy of Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008.
Murphy, a senior forward for Warsaw, N.Y., averaged 25.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in two wins for the Raiders last week. She shot 60 percent from the floor while recording a game-high 20 points against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) and a career-high 31 points against No. 8 Ohio Dominican.
