KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Danielle Lascoe of Midway (Ky.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.
Lascoe, a senior guard for Louisville, Ky., averaged 25.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two road wins for the Eagles last week. She shot 78 percent (18-for-23) from the floor, 75 percent (3-for-4) from the three-point range and 79 percent (11-for-14) from the free-throw line. Lascoe recorded 26 points against Indiana University Southeast and 24 points against Taylor-Fort Wayne (Ind.).
