OLATHE, Kan. - After averaging a triple-double in a pair of KCAC contests last week, Tabor (Kan.) center Donya Anderson has earned Player of the Week honors in NAIA Division II Women's Basketball. Anderson averaged 10.5 points, 13.0 rebounds and 10 assists in wins over McPherson (Kan.) and St. Mary (Kan.) last week, finishing the week 9-of-13 from the floor for 69 percent.
Anderson had a season-best six steals against McPherson and totaled eight on the week, while also grabbing six blocks, four of which came against St. Mary. She also equaled her season high with 12 assists against the Spires, assisting on half of the Blue Jays' 24 field goals in the game.
In the game against St. Mary, Anderson carded a rare double-double with 18 rebounds and 12 assists, and in the two-game stretch, she was 2-of-4 from beyond the 3-point arc and 1-of-2 at the foul line.
