OLATHE, Kan. - Indiana Wesleyan (12-0) is the early favorite in NAIA Division II Women's Basketball after being rated number-one in the first 2006 regular season poll.
Indiana Wesleyan recieved sixteen first-place votes in this weeks poll and was rated No. 4 in the preseason poll. Ozarks (Mo.) moved up three spots to No. 2, followed by Northwestern (Iowa), Saint Francis (Ind.), and Mid-America Nazarene to round out the top five. Minot State (N.D.) jumped 19 spots to come in at No. 6 in the first regular season poll of 2006.
