OLATHE, Kan. - With ten first-place votes and a perfect 8-0 mark on the season, Vanguard (Calif.) retained its spot atop the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball rating for the third-straight top 25 poll.
Vanguard finished ahead of 12-0 Oklahoma City who earned one top vote to earn second in the rating, while Union (Tenn.) enabled the top three to stay the same by keeping its No. 3 ranking in the third poll of the season. The top five was rounded out by a pair of teams that jumped four spots, as Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) moved from No. 8 to No. 4 and St. Xavier (Ill.) moved into the No. 5 spot after finishing the last rating at No. 9.
