KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jessica Richter of Vanguard (Calif.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.

Richter, a senior guard from Oregon City, Ore., averaged 26.5 points, 13.0 rebounds and 4.5 steals in two wins for the Lions.  She shot 56 percent from the floor and recorded two double-doubles.  Richter scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Hope International and chipped in 32 points and cleared 13 rebounds against Fresno Pacific.
