Lambuth made 13-of-22 (59 percent) from the field in the opening half while limiting Xavier to a seven-for-34 (21 percent) effort before halftime.

Xavier was led by senior guard Jarryn Cleaves, who tallied a team-high 14 points but was held to a four-for-17 effort from the field, including one-of-11 from three-point range. Cleaves also registered game-highs of eight rebounds and four steals for the Gold Nuggets, who finish the season with an overall record of 27-7.
