KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Union (Tenn.) remains No. 1 in the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.  The Lady Bulldogs received all 12 first place votes and 312 total points.

Vanguard (Calif.) stayed in the second spot with 300 total points while Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) held its spot at No. 3 for the second straight week with 290 total points.  No. 4 Oklahoma City and No. 5 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) switched spots from last week with 280 and 277 total points respectively.  Lambuth (Tenn.) (260 points) remained at No. 6 while No. 7 Saint Xavier (Ill.) (242 points) moved up three spots and No. 8 Lubbock Christian (Texas) (240 points) climbed four spots.  Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) stayed at No. 9 with 230 points and Lee (Tenn.) (222 points) rounded out the top-10 after moving up a spot to No. 10.

The third regular season poll will be released on Monday, January 5.
